Terms of Use
By downloading or using Linger, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
The service
Linger lets you attach memories (photos, voice, video, music, text) to printed photos via NFC, and — with Linger Plus — back up, sync and share them.
Your account
Some features require signing in with Apple. You’re responsible for activity under your account, and must meet the minimum age in your country.
Linger Plus subscriptions
Plus is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) and, where available, a one-time Lifetime purchase. Subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Prices are shown in the app. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
Your content
You own the memories you create. To provide cloud and sharing features, you grant us a limited license to store, process and transmit your content solely to operate the service for you. You’re responsible for the content you create and share, and for having the right to share it. Don’t use Linger for unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
Sharing
A share link makes the linked memory viewable by anyone who has it. You’re responsible for who you share with. We may remove content or disable links that violate these Terms or the law.
NFC stickers
Linger works with standard NFC tags. We’re not responsible for third-party stickers you buy.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: no reverse engineering beyond what the law allows, no interfering with the service, no uploading malware or others’ private information without permission.
Disclaimers
Linger is provided “as is” without warranties. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and aren’t responsible for lost data — keep your own copies of anything important.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ozlab is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Termination
You may stop using Linger anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use means you accept the changes.
